Please offer counter-points. Louisville plays Kentucky approx. 6:09 tonite; with an 8:49 start time between Kansas and Ohio State. We can't help but note that none of these places have really good sushi, crab or oysters. Sure Kentucky is expected to win, but watch the games either way.

BALTIMORE ORIOLES OFFICIALLY ELIMINATED FROM 2012 PLAY-OFFS.
The Orioles have missed out on at least 3 sizzling free-agent markets, and looking at the crop next year; well, there are no Pujols/Reyes in that bunch. The Orioles are doomed. A core of high-upside young starting pitching is in complete physical/mechanics despair. From what we can see, you can pencil in this team for at least 90 losses, and expect them to be so desperate as to rush SS of the future Manny Machado up too early, while dealing at least, or both, Adam Jones and Nick Markakis [this author knows for a fact how much the Yankees want him] prior to the trade deadline. Very hard to accept that our next jersey purchase will be a Nationals jersey.

WASHINGTON CAPITALS DO NOT CONTROL OWN DESTINY FOR PLAY-OFFS.
Disappointing. At least if you are near DC; they have blown some big games the last few days [once losing a 3-0 lead]. We always like the Bruins, though, In addition the Rangers have played extremely well; however, have they peaked too early? Flyers will also have a say, and you can never rule out Pittsburgh.Out west, we like Chicago and Vancouver. There will be blood.

SOMEBODY HAS TO HAVE A COOL SPORTS BLOG-WELCOME TO THE MACHINE.
It has been a lousy few months [decades] of political discourse, and it is only going to get worse through Veterans day, so we wont get into any of that. However, when you get to the point in the season where the NCAA is deciding it's basketball business, the NHL initiates the quest for the grail/Stanley Cup, baseball;s Opening Day, AND an under-looked treasure; the pending Summer Olympics in London, The Masters and the Kentucky Derby, well, welcome to the 'front row.' Keep in mind we usually buy general admission tickets and work our way down to the fronty row, but that will be a lesson for another day.
We will try to get you up to speed on the Capitals play-off pursuit, which is dubious at best. They really may not make it. Otherwise we will contemplate if the Orioles are actually a legit 100 loss team, and why you should purchase a Bryce Harper [pictured above patrolling center field at Hagerstown just before a call up to higher-level Norfolk in preparation for 'the show' this year]Nationals Jersey before the price goes up in August.
The picture at bottom is approximately 5 innings later when a micro-burst/mini-tornado abruptly ended the game until all of us got a free mini-double header the next day. Note how the wind completely bent the metal poles holding the umbrellas at the table at which our party was sitting. Also note a couple tables umbrellas broke lose, tumbling tarp over spiked pole bottom down the line, eventually ending up over the fence next to the left field foul pole.
